Important preliminary information: Surprisingly, each nozzle manufacturer has their own numbering system
Most nozzle manufacturers give their products unique model numbers. However, there are no objective standards governing these systems, and each nozzle manufacturer uses their own numbering system in their product catalogs. In principle, specifications such as connection size, material of manufacture, flow rate and spray angle at base pressure, etc. function as keywords, and combinations of these keywords comprise model numbers. But because model numbers are abbreviated in most product catalogs, users themselves have to string together a complete model number from codes representing these keywords by following rules stipulated by the manufacturer. (Please note that the Spray Nozzle Global Search System (SGS) displays the full model number of each nozzle.)
